22. What is auto-resistance on the classes page?
Our auto resistance has two resistance levels, high and low. When you're riding at a low RPM, your resistance will automatically increase as you ride. When you're riding at a high RPM and increasing your speed, your resistance will automatically decrease. Riding with resistance not only helps you gain strength, but excels your fitness performance to the next level. If you manually adjust the auto resistance two times during one class, the system will automatically turn it off. You can manually turn it back on again at any time. The next time you begin a class auto resistance will be on. Auto resistance will automatically turn off if you step off during a ride or take a break. Say, for example, you stop pedaling or take a break to answer your phone, our system will recognize this situation as the resistance being too high for you. As a result, the system will turn off auto resistance until you manually turn it on again.
Our self-adjusting algorithm tracks your riding data and analyzes whether or not you are comfortable at the current resistance level. If the current setting is giving you trouble or is too easy, the algorithm will automatically set the resistance to a level that best fits you at the given RPM. Everyone's riding style is unique, resistance should be too.
